Intro to Rawhide Braiding

This class will be geared toward the beginner braider for rawhide. I plan on having tempered string ready for braiding a rawhide honda. We will go over string preparation which includes tempering and beveling. After string is prepped, we will braid a honda. A basic four strand will be used to begin and then transition into an eight strand braid. The eight strand braid will be ended with a crown knot, then an opening will be made with an awl for the diameter size of desired rope and a burner will be laced on to the honda. All supplies are provided.
